  • Create an account or log in if you already have one.

  • Enter your travel details, including source, destination, date, and preferred class of travel.

  • Choose a train from the available options.

  • Select your berth or seat preference.

  • Make the payment using a debit or credit card, net banking, or UPI.

  • You will receive an e-ticket confirmation on your email and phone.

How to book train tickets in India - offline ? +

  • Visit the nearest railway reservation counter.

  • Inform the counter clerk about your travel details.

  • Choose a train and class of travel based on availability.

  • Make the payment in cash or using a debit/credit card.

  • You will receive a paper ticket confirmation.

  • Consider booking Tatkal tickets if you need last-minute confirmation. Tatkal bookings open 24 hours before train departure for AC classes and 48 hours for non-AC classes.

  • Be aware of the luggage allowance for your class of travel. The free allowance is generally 50 kg for AC classes and 40 kg for non-AC classes.
